Elegant earthenware bowl in the Vieux Rouen style , hand-decorated and resting on four small, delicately shaped feet.
Its polychrome decoration faithfully reproduces the emblems of Rouen earthenware:
lambrequins with cobalt blue scrolls ,
ochre, green and red floral patterns
decorative openwork entirely handmade .
The piece is signed “Rouen” under the base and numbered 1070 , guaranteeing a 20th century handcrafted manufacture, probably in the 1960s–1980s , a period when workshops reissued models inspired by the 18th century.
